about me & My studio

I started up my photography business in December 2009 when I was still living on the Isle of Arran where I was mainly a Wedding Photographer. When I moved back to my home town Dumfries I decided to follow my dream of having my own studio and being a Portrait Photographer.

I started off in a small studio on Queensberry Street, then expanded into new premises on the Whitesands, nine years on and I have just moved premises again and hopefully this will be us for good.

My new premises is in the middle of the High Street with lift access if required as we are located on the second floor.

My business has grown dramatically and the services I can now offer I couldn’t be more over the moon with as we have a:

Large Studio where we can now offer a range of set ups in one session.

Family Room where families can relax, have a cuppa or kids can play with the toys whilst getting family photos, I find especially if it’s a newborn shoot or large family groups some people just need a wee rest from it.

Beauty Room where all our Make-Overs take place whether it is a Boudoir, Bump Shoot or Kids Pamper Party we cater for all shoots

Enchanted is where the magic happens and it now has it’s own studio so we have it up all year round.

Party Room where the girls have their High Tea when joining us for their Pamper Party.

We now offer such a wide range of services that I am sure we have something to suit everyone.

I am also a Master Photographer and hold my Licentiate in Portrait Photography, I keep up to date with training as we are always constantly learning something new.

As well as being a photographer, I am also mum to my son McKenzie who is the sole reason I strive to be the best I can be, so I can provide for him the lifestyle I think he deserves, as well as a mama to my fur babies Millie (Cat) and Indie (Border Collie).

In my spare time or day off Indie and I like nothing better than a long walk or at a Loch Paddle-boarding or Kayaking.

Family Portraits are extremely important I promise to offer patience, kindness and understanding when creating your photos so you can treasure them for decades to come.

I won’t rush your shoot. We will take the time that you or your family members need.
